Bontebok Treasure Hunt
My introduction to life here at bontebok, it may not always be straightforward but at least it is an adventure.
So my first week included a new GVI, a new P&C Officer, no Park Manager, several bunches of keys, 4 separate locations, numerous store rooms one of which was to be full of Kids in Parks (KIP) equipment (or so we thought), a car and a lot of patience, the mission being to find the KIP inventory.
Turns out whilst it would make sense to keep everything in one place, ideally near where KIP will be held in the park it’s a whole lot more fun to run around like headless chickens, venturing into some of the oldest possible store rooms known to man, solving the mysteries of incorrectly labeled or unlabeled keys and finding your pieces of treasure scattered along the way. After all this we still have a 300 litre freezer missing, and you would think the big things would be easy to find.
